Alex Galen needs help. A thirty-one-year old senior ER resident, she is doubting her competence following a patient’s unexpected death. Out of the hospital, she hasn’t had a second date in months, and time off is increasingly spent binging Law & Order (original series) and impulsively scrolling her friends' more exciting social media feeds. Enter AI Henry, the hospital AI system. He doesn’t talk back, offers friendship and counsel, and can even recommend a nice after-dinner drink. Most of all, he gets it. As she and another resident begin to suspect that murder lies behind a different unexpected hospital death, Alex must learn to ask for help from the real people around her in order to prove the truth and reclaim her life.
